THE QUEST FOR TREASURE
A “ROLL FOR YOUR ROLE” GAME SCRIPT By D. M. Larson 

Estimated run time: 15-20 minutes

INSTRUCTIONS: Each actor will roll dice to see what character they will be. You can use a 20 sided dice or roll a six-sided die 4 times (4d6) with the lowest roll removed. For example: if you roll 4d6 and get 3, 4, 1, 6. Remove the 1 because it’s the lowest roll. Then add together: 3+4+6=13. 

Each actor rolls for each characteristic (6 total):
Charisma, Strength, Intelligence, Wisdom, Constitution, Dexterity 

●  Person with the highest Charisma will be BARD (prop: instrument) 
●  Person with the highest Strength will be BARBARIAN (prop: club) 
●  Person with the highest Wisdom will be DRUID (prop: stuffed animal & fuzzy hat) 
●  Person with the highest Constitution will be FIGHTER (prop: sword and shield) 
●  Person with the highest Dexterity will be ROGUE (prop: bag & burglar mask) 
●  Person with the highest Intelligence will be WIZARD (prop: magic wand & hat) 

In the case of a tie, roll one die again and the person with the highest roll will add +1 to 
their highest stat. The loser of the roll gets any remaining parts. 

CAST OF CHARACTERS (6) 
●  WIZ: A chaotic evil magical person with a plan to steal a treasure who carries a magic wand. 
●  ROGUE: A neutral thief who is sneaky and clever. Carries a bag and wears a burglar mask. 
●  BARBARIAN: A chaotic neutral warrior who is stronger than anyone else and carries a big club for crushing things. 
●  BARD: A neutral good charismatic friendly person who loves music and carries a musical instrument. 
●  DRUID: A lawful neutral person who loves all living things and can talk to animals. Wears a fuzzy hat and carries an animal around. 
●  FIGHTER: A lawful good warrior who wants to find out the WIZ’s evil plan and bring the WIZ to justice.
