The Bullied Bungled and Botched short script with monologues and questions about bullying 4 actors

“The Bullied, Bungled and Botched” is a stage play script by D. M. Larson for four actors (two male and two female). Each scene shares a moment from the lives of the characters as they experience bullying from different perspectives. The four characters (Luke, Layla, Moira and Bing) each deal with bullying in their own way and come together in the end to take a stand against it. The play runs approximately 16-20 minutes.

At the end of the script, several questions about the scenes are included as a way to check reading comprehension as well as encourage critical thinking skills.

There are many different ways you can use these scripts in class:

  • You can share this presentation and have the boys in class take turns reading parts of Luke and Bing’s monologues. Then the girls can take turns reading Layla and Moira’s monologues.
  • Students can each pick a favorite scene, memorize it and then perform it.
  • Students can draw pictures of the characters and scenes, as well as select wardrobe and props.
  • Finally, they could write their own monologue about bullying.

The Bullied, Bungled and Botched is a short script with monologues and critical thinking questions about bullying.
