"The Assist-Ant, a Helpful Hero" is a short comedy play for 12 actors.
The scene introduces the Assist-Ant, who has offered to help a famous superhero, named Ratfan, find a sidekick. All kinds of people line up to have a chance to be selected as a sidekick. But there is a villain among them who has other plans for Ratfan.

CAST OF CHARACTERS (12)
ASSIST-ANT: Has the power of helpfulness. Wears an ant costume.
RATFAN: Famous superhero who uses rats as weapons. He’s seeking a new sidekick.
ICE BABY: Superpower to create ice cubes.
SNARLZ: Snarlz Barky has the power to fetch anything someone wants. His costume is dog-like.
LUZ: Master of light, wears a Mexican wrestler mask and can summon different types of light.
HISS: Cat superhero who can claw and put people to sleep.
PJ: Pajama Rama uses a pillow as a weapon.
GREAT GRANNIE: Old lady superhero who wants help making her dentures of doom.
AROMA: She has the power to make scents. Her superhero costume has a floral theme to it.
QUIZZLER: Trivia power. Able to answer any question. He has question marks on his costume.
TRAINER: The trainer can make people do any physical action. Wears an athletic superhero costume.
SPOONER: The spooner wields a giant spoon as a weapon.
