FLOCK OF BIRDS is a short comedy theatre game script for 5 or more actors. This fill in the blank madscript is part game and part script resulting in a fun interactive play with some improv elements.

CAST OF CHARACTERS
(5 speaking roles, but additional non-speaking birds may be added)
LEADER: A veteran migrating bird
CHILLY: A bird who doesn’t like the cold.
DODO: A bird that is not very smart.
SCOUT: A bird that knows where they are and which way to go.
TWEET: A bird that is a little sassy.
BEFORE YOU BEGIN
IMPORTANT: Before reading the script, have the audience [or students who are watching] write down two things on two different pieces of paper. On one piece of paper, write down a location [name of a city or country]. On the other piece of paper, write down the name of an animal. A person who is not one of the actors gathers the papers into two piles [location and animals] and checks to make sure the responses are organized correctly. Do not show what has been written on the papers to the actors. The actors will draw from these piles as they act through the script.
